Update 2026-01
We are working on new modules and solutions!
The Module Framework
ALL modules from Xycons require a common central module environment for operation, the so-called "Module Framework".
The Module Framework is a central link of the modules and provides all modules with uniform routines and processes, so that the individual modules can draw from this pool during their operation and also deliver uniform results.
Through the Module Framework we have created a common platform for all modules, similar to how certain system routines are defined once in the shop itself and used everywhere by corresponding calls from the scripts.
But our Module Framework is also the central interface from protected to unprotected code components, the license protection itself, and also the update processes. The central routines – without which our modules would not function – have been encrypted via the server extension IonCube and cannot be changed. Any change in the encrypted files immediately leads to malfunction, as the checksums of the file contents no longer match after changes. Therefore, please do not modify any files of the framework. You can recognize these encrypted contents by the seemingly random characters and letters in the source code when you look at it.
Through the encryption and the license protection contained therein, we ensure that no manipulations can be made to the central routines and that many hours of intensive work and development are not simply copied and, for example, published in forums.
The Module Framework is used without exception by all modules; by centrally maintaining general and recurring routines and processes, uniform and faster development possibilities are thus given. Our modules only work with the simultaneous presence of the Module Framework.
On our site, you will find download links for the respective latest version for all modules and on the corresponding info pages.
It is recommended to always use the latest version of the Module Framework.
